Administrator session compromise via stored registration XSS
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Doctor Appointment System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in an administrator's browser. register.php stores unencoded first-name, last-name, or email input, and admin/users.php renders it without output encoding. Registration requires no authentication, but exploitation requires an administrator to review the injected user record; the resulting code runs with the administrative page's origin.
