UPnP service crash via out-of-bounds read
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in TP-Link TL-WR841N v14 before 0.9.1 4.19 allows remote attackers to crash UPnP via crafted local-network input. The component inadequately validates UPnP input before reading beyond a buffer boundary, terminating the UPnP service. The unauthenticated attack requires adjacent-network access and interrupts UPnP without reported device reboot, data disclosure, or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
