CVE-2026-36213Public exploit

SYSTEM privilege escalation via writable service binary

Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026

Privilege escalation in Microvirt MEmu Android Emulator 9.2.7.0 and earlier allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM. The SYSTEM-level MEmuSVC service installs MEmuService.exe with NTFS Full Control granted to Users and Everyone, allowing its binary to be replaced. A low-privileged Windows account can replace the executable and restart the service so the attacker’s code runs as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
