Administrator-level stored XSS via replacement output
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Stored XSS in takien Word Replacer 0 through 0.4 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the replacement parameter. WordReplacer::word_replacer_post stores replacement values without HTML sanitization, and WordReplacer::replace_replace decodes them into filtered content without output escaping. Administrator-level access to the plugin settings is required; the stored script runs in a visitor's browser when matching content is rendered.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
