Authenticated stored XSS via unescaped shortcode titles
Published Mar 21, 2026 · Updated Mar 21, 2026
Stored XSS in Sheets2Table 0.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the titles shortcode attribute. S2T_Functions::trim_array_values() only removes whitespace, and display_table_header() echoes each title into a table-header element without HTML escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the stored script runs in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is viewed.
