Remote service crash via crafted API message

Reachable assertion in ISC Kea 2.6.0 through 2.6.4 and 3.0.0 through 3.0.2 allows remote attackers to crash DHCP daemons. The vendor maps the flaw to a reachable assertion but has not disclosed the triggering field, assertion site, or call path that produces the stack overflow. Exposure requires network reachability to a configured API socket or HA listener; a successful crash terminates the receiving daemon and interrupts DHCP service.
