Unauthenticated Administrator escalation via arbitrary option update
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
Privilege escalation in ImprintNext Riaxe Product Customizer 2.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain Administrator access. The unauthenticated install-imprint AJAX action passes attacker-controlled option names and values to delete_option() and add_option() without authorization or an allowlist. No account or user interaction is required; enabling registration and making Administrator the default role permits creation of an account with full site control.
