Root command execution via unauthenticated debug CGI
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
OS command execution in T3 Technology T625Pro 1.0.07 and T6825G 1.0.03 allows remote attackers to run commands as root via HTTP. The shortcut_telnet.cgi endpoint URL-decodes the raw query string, writes it to /var/fiberweb_telnet.sh, marks the script executable, and runs it through /bin/sh as root. Direct exploitation requires LAN reachability; Internet-based exploitation requires a user on the target network to visit a malicious page, and root execution permits device takeover.
