Arbitrary command execution via shell metacharacters
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
OS command injection in LB-link Router AC450M 4.0.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands via crafted input. The bs_SetLimitCli_info function in libshare.so passes an insufficiently validated parameter into a system-level command context, allowing shell metacharacters to alter the command. The public record does not state the required privilege level or the interface supplying the parameter, so exposure depends on reachability of that input path.
