Unauthenticated code execution via overwritten placeholders
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Code injection in WPChill Kali Forms 2.4.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP functions through a form submission. The prepare_post_data function accepts reserved placeholder names from submitted fields, and _save_data passes overwritten values to call_user_func as PHP callbacks. No authentication is required; setting entryCounter to wp_set_auth_cookie with an administrator user ID grants an administrator session and enables server-side code execution.
