Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped settings output
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Stored XSS in Experto Dashboard for WooCommerce 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through settings. register_setting() accepts font-size and font-weight values without a sanitization callback, and field_callback() inserts them into printf output without esc_attr(). Administrator access is required, and execution is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled when a user opens the settings page.
