Authenticated profile reset via omitted mutation gate
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.3.24 allows remote authenticated users to reset persistent browser profiles. The isPersistentBrowserProfileMutation classifier omits POST /reset-profile, so browser.request forwards the operation to resetProfile. Operator.write access and an existing profile are required; the operation stops its browser, closes Playwright, and moves profile data to Trash.
