Account deletion via missing AJAX nonce check
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Taqnix 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete a logged-in non-administrator user's account. The taqnix_delete_my_account() AJAX handler processes deletion while its check_ajax_referer() nonce validation remains commented out. Exploitation requires the targeted user to remain authenticated and click a crafted link or visit a malicious page, after which that user's account is deleted.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
