Unauthorized command execution via stale queued policy
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Authorization bypass in OpenClaw before 2026.3.22 allows attackers to execute unauthorized queued node commands after policy changes. The gateway's nodes delivery handler returns pending actions without rechecking each command against the current allowlist and node-declared command set. Exploitation requires an action to remain queued while either policy set is tightened, causing later delivery to violate the updated policy.
