Authenticated action execution via unbound add-on principal
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Authentication bypass in OpenClaw before 2026.3.22 allows remote authenticated users to invoke Google Chat webhook actions. In verifyGoogleChatRequest, app-url verification accepted any verified Google Workspace add-on issuer without comparing the token subject to the configured appPrincipal. The Google Chat app-url integration must be enabled, and the attacker needs a valid add-on token from another deployment; successful requests reach only actions exposed through that integration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
