Heap-based buffer overflow in Signify Philips Hue Bridge 1.73.1973146020 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted PUT request. The hk_hap characteristics handler copies user-supplied data into a heap buffer without validating its length. Access to the Bridge's adjacent network is required; authentication normally gates the endpoint, but the published advisory states that the mechanism can be bypassed, yielding code execution in the device context.
