Root code execution via unchecked Sub-TLV length

Heap-based buffer overflow in Signify Philips Hue Bridge 1.73.1973146020 allows remote authenticated users to execute root code. The hk_hap service's hap_pair_verify_handler on TCP port 8080 copies user-controlled Sub-TLV data into a heap buffer without validating its length. Access requires authentication from the adjacent network, but the published authentication mechanism is bypassable; successful exploitation runs code as root.
