Database compromise via unvalidated role identifier
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
SQL injection in ChurchCRM before 7.1.0 allows remote authenticated users with ManageGroups access to read and modify database data. MemberRoleChange.php retrieves the NewRole POST parameter as a string and concatenates it directly into an UPDATE query without integer validation. Exploitation also requires valid GroupID and PersonID values; successful queries permit database read, write, or deletion without user interaction.
