Authentication bypass in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.1.0.0 allows remote attackers to intercept or hijack authentication sessions. The browser-based flows omit PKCE for OAuth, RelayState CSRF protection for SAML, secure credential caching, and exclusive callback-port binding. Successful exploitation requires an active browser-based authentication exchange and grants the attacker that session's authenticated access.
