Driver crash via out-of-bounds query-data write

Out-of-bounds write in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.1.0.0 allows remote attackers to crash the driver via crafted query data. The query-processing components perform an out-of-bounds write while consuming specially crafted data; Amazon narrows the input to table metadata but does not identify the affected function or buffer operation. The driver must process the attacker-controlled data during a user-initiated query, and the documented consequence is interruption of the driver process rather than data disclosure or modification.
