Administrator code execution via registry value overflow
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Stack overflow in all Dynabook TOSRFEC.SYS versions and DRFEC.SYS 11.0.0.0 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The drivers pass attacker-controlled registry data through an incorrect RtlQueryRegistryValues call, overflowing a stack buffer. Exploitation requires local access and existing administrator privileges; it provides neither initial access nor elevation from a standard user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
