Stored XSS in CERT/CC cveClient before 1.0.24 allows remote attackers to execute script when a user displays crafted CVE API data. In cveInterface.js, jQuery .html() renders API-derived option labels, alert messages, detail tags, and user names as markup instead of text. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-controlled service content; resulting script runs in the client origin and can read or modify browser-visible data.
