Authenticated SSRF via unvalidated redirect targets
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
SSRF in BaseDownloader in pyLoad 0.5.0b3.dev96 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access internal services via redirects. BaseDownloader validates only the initial URL, while HTTPRequest lets pycurl follow up to ten redirects without validating each destination. ADD permission is required; a crafted link can retrieve cloud metadata, localhost resources, or private-network content into the download store.
