Unauthenticated viewer-statistics disclosure via disabled CLI guard
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Information disclosure in AVideo 26.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read viewer statistics through an exposed diagnostic script. install/test.php comments out its non-CLI die() guard, enables verbose errors, queries VideoStatistic::getLastStatistics(), and dumps the result to HTTP clients. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosed data includes viewer IP addresses, session IDs, user agents, user IDs, JSON metadata, and error-derived filesystem paths.
