Stored browser script execution via backup filenames
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Stored XSS in LabReDeS WeGIA before 3.6.9 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a user's browser through a backup filename. The importar_dump.php upload path accepts a multipart gzip filename, and the backup-list deletion view renders the persisted name without neutralizing executable script syntax. A victim administrator must upload the crafted backup and later view or delete its entry, exposing session cookies and authenticated browser actions.
