CVE-2026-3539

Rejected after reclassification as non-security bug

Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026

Google Chrome's former DevTools object-lifecycle report is rejected because Chrome determined that the issue was a bug, not a vulnerability. The withdrawn description had attributed heap corruption to a crafted extension installed through user persuasion, but the current CVE record exposes no vulnerability mechanism. Accordingly, no affected version, attacker gate, or security consequence remains asserted by the assigning authority.
