Improper privilege management in Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.61 and 8.62 allows local users with high privileges to take over PeopleTools. Oracle identifies Deployment Package as the affected component but has not published the faulty operation or code locus. Exploitation requires a high-privilege logon to the host where PeopleTools runs, needs no user interaction, and can affect confidentiality, integrity, availability, and additional products.
