Improper privilege management in Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.61 and 8.62 allows local users to take over the platform. Oracle has not disclosed the vulnerable Deployment Package locus or the operation that mishandles privilege boundaries. Access to the host where PeopleTools runs is required, but no PeopleTools credentials or user interaction is needed; successful exploitation grants full control of the platform.
