Database compromise via unsanitized placeholder substitution
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
SQL injection in EcclesiaCRM before 8.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify its database through query parameters. The ValidateInput default branch leaves certain POST values unfiltered, and ProcessSQL inserts them into SQL templates using str_replace. Access requires an account to which an administrator has granted database-query rights; successful injection exposes full database contents and permits modification.
