Logo overwrite via pre-validation base64 file write
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
CSRF in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo 26.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite the site logo through an administrator's browser. The admin/customize_settings_nativeUpdate.json.php endpoint decodes logoImgBase64 and calls file_put_contents before its later ORM save invokes the Origin and Referer domain check. A logged-in administrator must visit attacker-controlled content; SameSite=None sends the session cookie, limiting the demonstrated consequence to logo defacement.
