CVE-2026-35172Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Deleted-blob disclosure via stale Redis membership

Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026

Improper access control in CNCF Distribution before 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to read deleted repository blobs over the network. repositoryScopedRedisBlobDescriptorService.Clear removes the shared digest descriptor but not the repository membership entry, so a peer repository Stat or Get rebuilds the descriptor and revives access. Exposure requires Redis blob-descriptor caching, enabled deletion, the same digest in two repositories, and a post-deletion request to the peer repository.
