Contributor-level stored XSS via unsanitized iframe attributes
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Stored XSS in Tammersoft Contact List for WordPress 3.0.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via _cl_map_iframe. The saveCustomFields() function extracts an iframe from that field with a regex, stores its unvalidated attributes in post metadata, and class-cl-public-card.php renders the HTML without escaping or wp_kses filtering. Contributor-level access is required, and a stored event handler executes in the browser of anyone who opens the affected page.
