Unauthorized data access via report parameter injection
Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026
SQL injection in Apache Fineract 1.14.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access unauthorized data via crafted report parameters. The runreports endpoint inserts parameter values into generated SQL without type validation or parameter binding, so crafted values alter the executed query. Access requires authentication and permission to run reports; the resulting query can expose data beyond the report's intended scope.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
