Improper restriction of login attempts in KTM System e-BOK before 06.2026 allows remote attackers to brute-force user accounts. The login flow applies neither an attempt limit nor a timeout to consecutive authentication requests, permitting automated guesses without throttling. The attack is network-reachable without authentication, and a successful password guess grants access to the targeted account; the companion six-digit numeric password restriction substantially reduces the search space.
