CVE-2026-35090Network attack vector

Unauthenticated administrative access via trusted caller ID

Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026

Authentication bypass in Slican telephone exchanges before their respective fixes allows remote attackers to gain administrative access by modem. The remote-management modem treats a call carrying a specific caller ID as trusted, skips administrator authentication, and exposes the service protocol and configuration panel. A telephone call with that caller ID is sufficient even when remote access is disabled, because the call temporarily enables remote access and grants full configuration control.
