Remote code execution via unrestricted state deserialization
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Unsafe deserialization in Man Group D-Tale before 3.22.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through Redis or shelf-backed state. The global-state Redis and shelf read paths deserialize persisted values with unrestricted Python pickle loading rather than limiting reconstructed classes. Exploitation requires a publicly reachable instance configured with either affected storage backend; payload loading executes code in the server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
