Unauthenticated internal service access via unvalidated URL
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
SSRF in Ech0 before 4.2.8 allows remote attackers to reach internal services through the public website-title endpoint. The GetWebsiteTitle handler passes the unvalidated website_url value to an HTTP client that follows redirects and permits any target host or IP address. No authentication is required; reachable HTML title content is returned, enabling limited data disclosure and internal service discovery.
