Authenticated script execution via unescaped ticket_id attribute
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Reflected XSS in Open ISES Tickets CAD before 3.44.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted ticket_id. In add_facnote.php, the ticket_id GET value is printed directly into a hidden input VALUE attribute without HTML attribute encoding. A victim must visit the crafted URL; the resulting script can read or alter browser-accessible page data, but the flaw does not interrupt the service.
