Authenticated file deletion via unchecked SQLite paths
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Path traversal in Adminer before 5.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to delete PHP-writable files through SQLite requests. The database-list drop path passes each attacker-controlled db[] value directly to unlink() without extension or listed-database validation. A valid Adminer session and CSRF token are required, and deletion is limited to paths writable by the PHP process.
