Session hijacking via reflected footer script injection
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Reflected XSS in forceworkbench Workbench before 65.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via footerScripts. In footer.php, a request-controlled footerScripts array is treated as internal state and each element is printed without output encoding. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted URL; injected script runs in the Workbench origin and can access browser-visible session data.
