Sandbox escape in PraisonAI before 1.5.90 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands through crafted Python code. The _safe_getattr wrapper accepts str subclasses and trusts their overridden startswith() result, permitting underscore-prefixed attribute traversal to subprocess.Popen. No privileges or user interaction are required when execute_code() receives attacker-controlled input, and commands run with the PraisonAI process account.
