SYSTEM execution via untrusted listener commands
Published May 21, 2026 · Updated May 21, 2026
Origin validation in Trend Micro Apex One Windows agents allows local users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM through crafted commands. The Apex One NT Listener service accepts commands through a process-protection mechanism without adequately validating their origin. Exploitation requires low-privileged local code execution and affects on-premises agents before 14.0.0.17079 and SaaS agents before 14.0.20731.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
