CVE-2026-34863

Device availability disruption via file-system out-of-bounds write

Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in the HarmonyOS 5.1.0 and 6.0.0 file system allows local users with high privileges to disrupt device availability. Huawei has not disclosed the affected file-system component, the input that crosses its buffer boundary, or the operation that performs the out-of-bounds write. The flaw requires local high-privilege access; Huawei reports availability impact but does not identify whether exploitation causes a hang, crash, reboot, or another interruption.
