CVE-2026-34833Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via session API password response

Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026

Information exposure in Bulwark Webmail before 1.4.10 allows context-dependent attackers to obtain user passwords from session responses. The GET /api/auth/session handler serialized the authenticated session's plaintext password into its JSON response instead of limiting output to the server URL and username. Exposure requires access to a logged-in user's response through browser logs, local caches, or a network proxy; integrity and availability are unaffected.
