Authenticated cross-account feedback deletion via missing ownership check
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Authorization bypass in Erudika Scoold before 1.66.1 allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' feedback posts by ID. FeedbackController.deleteAjax reads the attacker-supplied ID and deletes the resulting object after checking authentication but not ownership or elevated authority. Any logged-in low-privilege account can remove another account's feedback content, causing direct integrity loss without broader access.
