Stored XSS via unneutralized VPN-user remarks
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Stored XSS in Endian Community Firewall 3.3.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through VPN-user remarks. The /manage/vpnauthentication/user/ handler stores the remark parameter without neutralizing it before rendering the value into the management page. Execution occurs when another user views that page, allowing the injected script to read or alter data available to that user's browser session.
