Stored script execution via unneutralized remark field
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Endian Community Firewall 3.3.25 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in other users' browsers. /cgi-bin/vpnfw.cgi stores the unneutralized remark parameter and later renders it into the VPN firewall page. An attacker needs authenticated access to submit the remark, and execution occurs when another user views the page, exposing or altering data available to that browser session.
