Node.js access via mis-scoped worker integration
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
Improper isolation in affected Electron releases allows remote attackers to gain Node.js access through a worker in a child frame. When renderer processes are shared, a worker spawned by a frame with nodeIntegrationInWorker disabled receives integration from a differently configured context. Exploitation requires user interaction in an app that enables nodeIntegrationInWorker and opens child windows or embeds content with differing webPreferences.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
