Administrator-session JavaScript execution via unescaped IP parameter
Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026
Reflected XSS in AVideo 26.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in an administrator's session via a crafted link. User_Location/testIP.php copies the ip request parameter into an HTML input value without htmlspecialchars() or other output encoding. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to follow the link; successful code can read the session cookie or perform administrator actions.
