Code execution via unsanitized SVG icon rendering
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Stored XSS in DbGate 7.0.0 through 7.1.4 allows local users to execute scripts through a malicious application definition. FontIcon.svelte treats an applicationIcon value beginning with an SVG tag as inline markup and inserts the entire value as raw HTML without sanitization. Execution requires another user to save or load the definition and view a matching entry; Electron permits resulting script code to access Node APIs.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
